Raine's Family

We have been blessed with four biological children and love the joy and happiness being parents brings. Over the past two years we had felt like one piece was still missing to our family. Our hearts were beyond ready to care for and raise another precious baby. During our journey we discovered our hearts were led to adopt a child with special needs, specifically a child with Down syndrome. We were prepared and ready! 

 We registered with NDSAN and expectantly waited. We prayed over many situations and we waited. And waited. And waited! We kept reminding ourselves that God’s timing is always perfect and He is in control. After many long months we were chosen and had our new baby home in our family within days of applying! It was that fast! 

 Baby Raine has been in our family for almost two months and she is an absolute ray of sunshine! She has the sweetest personality and is loved by everyone in the family! She has completed our family and we couldn’t feel more blessed! 

 The adoption journey is hard. Financially, mentally, spiritually… it challenged us on every level. We are extremely thankful for GLADS support of our journey. We are humbled and deeply grateful for GLADS support of our adoption. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you!

Raine is doing amazing! She is walking and actually trying to run! She loves going in the swing! Her speech is pretty delayed but she has a few signs and figured out if she brings us the remote we will put on Mickey Mouse! Ha! She’s just got the sweetest/sassiest personality and I am obsessed! I’ll send a video of her laugh! It’s my favorite!!
